I'm in search of a ball holder sized for a cups and balls routine, but just the standard crocheted balls rather than the final loads. Something like this that can be pinned into the jacket: https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S32135
I've tried various methods of making one but nothing has been super satisfying, so if anyone knows of a source I'd be forever grateful!

I always used a baby sock. Now they make adjustable dog socks/pads that might work too.

How about a straight pin or needle hung inside jacket. Just stick it on!

A fuzzy ball should stick to the male side of Velcro tape. Haven't tried it, just musing.

I ended up combining ideas! The larger holder with a velcro strap wrapped around the inside so the ball wouldn't fall through. I used it last night at the Magic Castle and it worked flawlessly!
