In short, because that performance was the only one for English-speaking audience here, and it flowed very well as to demonstrate what YOUR spectators will perceive the effect.
Please don't take my word and wait for the reviews, there is nothing to hide here. It's not like your buying a $ 1600 electronic device to perform a prediction thou... |

What an odd comment.
It's standard practice now for product trailers to show a full performance. A performance was shown in the trailer for this product, so now we see how it looks with a stooge. I think most prospective purchasers would like to see how a performance of Boarding Pass looks without a confederate. And that seems entirely reasonable to me. |

That's not a stooge...
Anyway, I am saying that I can do the exact same performance WITHOUT any helper. Then how will you be able to tell the difference? You will have to trust my word. It's standard practice for some creators to fully show the strings of the puppets, yes. Others edit and cut the videos and some do not even do that. They publish books! We have all of them, thank god. I'm thinking to record a performance for each different solo method, so you can see exactly how they play out, then decide if it's for you or not. What I can't promise is that they will be for english speakers. |

Well, if it truly looks THAT clean with ANY of the solo methods, I'm sold.
And I'm wondering why an assistant is needed at all... |

The effect is amazing, but like many say... if we will use it all depends on the input method.
Now I don't own NOW or NOW 2 but is seems you have already used some very special and good methods before (if they work as in the demo videos). Very good! |

This is not an app, but a webapp... The question is how reliable and practice the input method is (without a stooge). The qr must be a D****** qrcode

It's both practical, fast and reliable
I'm just curious...what do you think you have to input and when? |

Interesting answer!
While using Now app to secretly send info without them saying a word is nice (and one method), I found out that since there's no phone in play at the start, and they are seeing the tickets, no one ever mentioned that possibility (except some magicians!) The fact is, with any of the inputs involved, the dirty work is over at the start of the effect. The rest is automatic, only presentation and playing with the free choices, placing an effective time-misdirection between the actual input action and the final reveal. |

It would be great if you could show us an uncut solo performance, from a good angle to check it how reliable input method is…

That’s great thanks. Also don’t worry too much about trying to get the performance in English as YouTube can put the English subtitles on.

Before you get my statement wrong... I love now!2 and I appreciate the work of mariano a lot.
there are two types of people out there: 1. the ones thinking, that the content of a qr-code is saved in the code itself. 2. the others, knowing a qr-code is just a way to put an url into a browser. while the first ones will be deeply impressed, the second group... well... but I like that this could be hidden (quite well?!?) by the fact the trick starts with an "analogue prop" (tickets) and the manipulation is done before the specs phone comes into play. but yes, the practicability of the solo input method would be an essential point. two questions about the variability of the trick: 1. the reveal must be a geo-location? makes sense with flight tickets, but other uses of the codes could be imaginable. 2. is the link opened over the browser of the phone, which means the url will be visible to the spectator? |

I’m also not clear about this. Product description says it comes with a web app, but the spec uses their phone to scan?
Of the people I know, not many have a QR scanner app installed on their phone |
