It cannot be the old method if the trailer is anything to go by.

Most modern fine watches have mechanical movements. There are some exceptions and there maybe some versions of a Rolex, etc from the 90s quartz era around. For the most part a modern Rolex and other fine brands, are going to have a mechanical movement.
So having a mechanical movement is not an old style by any means. Quartz is not a desirable thing in a luxury watch these days |

You’re thinking of the Oyster Quartz. Most modern automatic movements are impervious to magnetism due to silicon hair springs, or similar so you’re better off sticking to quartz. They’re much cheaper to replace too, in most instances. |

Yes, probably was a spectator with a Chinese rip-off. He made a scene because his "girlfriend" probably didn't know that. Should I have know better, I'd smashed it with a hammer and give him $50.

If the method uses ma****s, I'm out. This could destroy the watch of the spectator. Wonder, if some more informations about the safety will be coming up.

Going to be wary about this until we have more answers. This could cost you far more than a Trick. It must be fail safe.

"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

I have both kronos and another one but they rely on the old method with some improvement.
I think Menny really uses a new kind of method we do not know. Really interesting |

I would say it is impossible that there is another method but would love to be wrong. Will be at Magic Live next week will try and check it out.

Yes I agree the only logical way has been discussed but there are always possibilities I might not be aware of.
