Hey everyone,

I’m Kevin from Germany. After years long break I’m trying to bring back the magic to my everyday life.
Magic has never left me and now I will approach learning the craft differently—starting with the fundamentals (especially card magic first).
When I was young, I did not put a lot of attention on the basics which lead to problems later when learning other sleights and effects.

I now want to build a more solid foundation and one of the first questions that already pop-up are “When have I practiced a sleight enough?”, “I am doing the card spread between my hands right?”

I hope to find some answers and advice within the community, and hope for some magical conversation within different topics in this forum.

Best regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to the forum. I have a similar story to yours in that I took a long break from the art and am trying to become more active. If you haven't already figured it out, this is an incredible resource!
All the best,
Nick

Welcome!

For your question: “When have I practiced a sleight enough?”
My answer is: When it becomes natural. You can do it without having to think it through.
