Check out Oriental Trading. I don't think they have magic items but they they have tons of "cheap" gifts and "giveaway" stuff.
Hope this helps. (By the way, I am a clown also) Regan

This has been covered quite well on other threads. Have a look in the Little Darlings Index thread, pinned at the top of this area.

Some other hand outs you can make yourself would be certificates for the kids as well as coloring flyers. They cost you next to nothing, kids love them and you get your information out to those who may want to book you.

Ebay has bulk lots of magic stuff for relatively cheap. Keep an eye out for those.
But I do like the idea of Certificats and color pages.

Lots of supermarkets have party goods blister packs of bouncy balls, parachute people, sunglasses bats and balls whistles ect, I don't know if you have car boots sales in NZ and Usa but I find you can get cheap wholsale items I got a full pack of bubbles (24) for £4 (about $7) just look around, I use certifiactes and clouring sheets but I always give the helpers givaways.

Take a look at dollar stores as Kyle posted. I'd also recommend big sales at party stores. I found magic wands at a 75% off, Going-Out-Of-Business sale for a Factory Card Outlet. It was really a great deal!

Check FUN, INC. in Chicago, Illinois. All kinds of stuff you can order pre-packaged or assemble the components yourself.

Loftus and Forum are 2 companies I have purchased items from, they hcarry loads of magic stuff from books to magic sets, I usually buy magic wands from them by the case which makes them really cheap!

Cheaper, my friends:
http://www.rinovelty.com http://www.ustoy.com In each case, I'm happier ordering by phone from the print catalog. I found Oriental rewarding to start, but they can't decide what they want to be (little toys ... B IG toys ... EDUCATIONAL toys ... then JUDAICA? I'll be back when they figure it out.) |
