Hi,
FYI - This forum ("All in the cards") is supposed to be for discussions of self-working card tricks. This post should probably be in "Workers". Anyway... The sudden appearance of the deck of cards is a commercially available product created by David Regal. There have been several versions. (Personally I think the latest is not necessarily the best; but that's just my opinion). The techniques he uses to make the two decks match are fairly basic to those in the know. The way he has combined them together is what I admire - he has used simple building blocks to create an amazing effect. [And remember, it is always the effect that matters!] There are plenty of resources you could buy that cover a wide range of techniques and effects. As you build up your knowledge, you will be able to see for yourself how a performance like this is constructed. Here are some suggestions - Easy to Master Card Miracles (Ammar) Encyclopaedia of Card Sleights (Daryl) Card College (Giobbi) Royal Road To Card Magic The Magic Book (Lorayne) |
