I've never used an index before, but I bought this and REALLY like it. It's very well made, very easy to use, can be used in separate pockets or both in the same pocket and I expect it to last a long time. I have no idea about Lloyd's yet to be released product or one by Don Wand that was being talked about a while back, but I can't see how you could improve on this!!

Thanks for this Dan just ordered, if you don't use an index and are impressed, thats good enough for me.

The Cafés a great place again.

How does this compare to the one pocket INDEXED by Saturn Magic?

With "indexed" you have to riffle the cards.
Here you "take" the named card.
I find them both evenly fast.
With Cheetah the chances of making a mistake, are lesser I think.
On the other side, "indexed" is compacter. (Cheetah are two indexes).
I own "indexed", but I think I will use Cheetah.
To be sure that you have te right card is primordial for me.

Thanks for your thoughts. I’ve been too lazy to put the cards back in indexed after I accidentally pulled them out when I got it…lol…Cheetah sounds cool. Btw with something like Cheetah, could you have other objects in your pocket or does pocket management mean you have to clear it for the system?

You can have other objects in your pocket.
In "Wallet Nighmare" (linked above), we show you that you can fit Cheetah and a Mullica Wallet in the same pocket.
Also, in "Classic Brooks", we show you that you can fit half deck and Cheetah in the same pocket.

Just got my Cheetah index. Love this. Very intuitive, no fumbling, thin and fast.

Just got mine as well and I too absolutely love it I have always been a big fan of index systems and I think that this is the last word on card in Index’s, what makes this thing separate from the rest of the ones that are out there is that this is very versatile and you can do a lot of cool routines such as just producing four of a kind or A poker hand, There is no fumbling are thinking with this index system it is extremely fast and easily done. Love it.

Indeed I’m not sure how you could really improve an index system any further than this. It certainly can’t get faster or easier.

Looks a lot faster than the one Lloyd has, at least by the videos I have seen.

Added note you can actually pull a four of a kind out faster than you can just one card. And that’s after a few minutes of practice pretty amazing.

Question to owners: Is it smooth to get the card into full palm in the pocket as opposed to openly displaying it? I'm only interested in secret acquisition of the card.

Thanks!

To the owners of this index, is there a way to change it from a flat card to a folded card, within the index, and still have the index work without losing speed?

Thanks,

Henok

Loz - there is no difference with any card index regarding positioning the card into CP in the pocket tbh - I’ve had no problems with this at all. I load the card into my FPS wallet.

Henok- the index isn’t designed for folded cards, but there is another index out there that is. The option would be to have the cards already scored (with maybe Jon Allen’s perfect score) to allow easy folding thereafter.

I have heard decent things about this Index. I do know that Don Wands is hands down the quickest and fastest and easiest to reset I’ve ever seen and unbeatable imo.
Whether it will be released I don’t know but in the meantime this and Lloyds version are very very decent alternatives but not on the same stratosphere as Dons. That’s my opinion for what it’s worth but unless Dons is ever released we can only discuss the ones that are Gaz Smile

Hey Gaz, could you please compare Dex to Cheetah more? Or if you don't have a Cheetah, could you describe Dex more?:
-Is there any noise when picking? (at "Indexed by Mirrah Miraculous" people wrote that they could hear the noise).
-Is it easy to learn to pick quickly?
-How much smaller is Dex compared to box of cards?
-Do you think Dex or Cheetah is better and which one you preffer?
Or other observations if you noticed.
Thanks in advance!

Is there a thread on Dex. I will discuss it if there is an open thread but Cheetah I don’t have but I do know there are improvements that could of been made as I have seen it.
It’s still very good though as is Lloyds, no noise on Lloyds that I will say Gaz

Dex is not available yet. Only an old performance video from Lloyd.

Cheetah is the best index and above all, the best value for your money.
You can make as many indexes as you want at no cost.
Cheetah is as quick as "indexed" (although another technique) and surely quicker than "dex" when you look at the videos.
And the creators of cheetah don't hijack other people's threads...

2 pocket index systems will always be better and quicker imo.
The spectator doesn’t know what pocket it’s coming from so the need to have it in just 1 pocket would never bother me Gaz Smile
