I sure could use your help... I wrote to G the manufacturer but I fear he may be ....elusive right now... just to make you smile I failed at five consecutive shows on this before I understood the thing and now with some supplemental effects I have a piece a staple for my new show.
my problem is that I set the thing on a rather unexpected summer hiatus on top of other props for the past two months. the bottom rubber covering like a cloth with little round felt circles in each corner got invaded... I set it on other props and around the hidden circle suction cup area two fold or almost creases were made indentations like a half an inch each on the imbedded circle line where the cup is hiding. I lost the suction... so I got a rubberized kitchen drawer liner and the newest best gorilla glue and reapplied a new surface and a quick test and the box held.. but two days later it doesn't ... so am not sure its my gluing ... the material I replaced it with though it held at the start or I need to find this rubberized brown mat stuff that was originally used... if any of you have experience here I sure would appreciate it .. i have added strongman effect the bending nut and bolt and the superhero 36 inch caped silk that I put my head over for an instant super hero costume that I share with the effective lifters... and tyuvex no tyvex paper for a competition rip off old ladies versus the stronger types... I have a nice routine here.. if needed I can ausdience manage the effect whth a naked bottom of the box to continue but I sure would like to cover it up... let me know if you have anythoguhts much appreciated in advance Marty |
