Since the public doesn't even recognize half dollars nowadays, I've been adapting some tricks to be done with metal bottle caps. I'm finding them to be great.
Mike Rubinstein switched to poker chips for some routines because of the same reason. I went for the metal bottle caps. They handle very well for sleight of hand. You can pick one up with the palm, you can make your hand look great when "holding out", etc. I just described my latest handling in the Secret Sessions forum under my name and "Creating New Magic". I still do some half-dollar magic. I call them antique coins. Enjoy. |

I would also point Genii subscribers to the April 2017 issue featuring your Triangulation effect using the bottlecaps. I've been working on it on and off but I can attest that it's very easy to palm the bottlecap right off the table!

Thank you. I wasn't happy with the last move, which is why I changed to a "coins across" type of routine. Roth's Chink-a-chink is good too. There are also metal bottle cap through bottle tricks. The plastic bottles and the metal bottlecap make an unusual combination.
