I just ordered Pre-Thoughts, and I am wondering what type of effects are in this book. I have searched, but haven't found much information on the actual effects.

Banachek's "Pre Thoughts" has some wonderful theories and information.
It's a small 22 page booklet that gives you a full show to perform, if you choose to follow its instructions. I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I believe you can't really go wrong with it.

Ignore the Sponge, as there are no coin tricks in there.
I don't have it myself, but I remember it being a mental act, and can't really imagine Banachek going "OK, I have two in the hand and one in the pocket..." Curtis

Pre-thoughts are prediction based tricks. They are routined into an excellent show with a very well writeen script.
