Are there any published tricks where the mental photography deck or a variant of it is used for invisible deck style prediction effects?

Here are two ideas I came up with.

The magician presents a calendar spreadsheet to the spectator, 28 days (or 26 days so there is no need to get around the spectator choosing a number that wont work, I have a way to get around that if it happens though) are printed on a piece of paper with a different card assigned to each date. The magician asks the spectator to choose one day or maybe if the spectator has their birthday fall into one of the days. Lets say the spectator chooses the fifth and the card that falls into that day is the three of spades. The magician takes out a deck of cards from the case and says that all the cards are blank on this side except one. He spreads through the cards showing that they are all blank until one card in the middle is seen to be the only card that is not blank and it is the three of spades that matches with the date that the spectator chose on the calendar. The magician puts the three of spades on the table and spreads the blank deck on the table. He says that not only are all the cards blank on this side, they are also all blank on the other side. He inverts the fan, showing that all the cards are blank also on the other side. Oh wait, there is one blue backed card showing in the spread. The magician says, well, all blank except that one. Was your birthday really on the fifth? The magician takes the blue backed card out of the spread and written on the back is "I hope you have a happy birthday on the 5th".

Another way that I thought about doing something similar is to have a modified mental photography deck where there is only reds or black face cards. The deck starts in the case. The spectator is asked to imagine all the cards fading into blank cards except the one card that they will end up with. Here it is only necessary to force the color. So if they say black you would ask them to imagine all the black cards fading away, then ask them to name on of the red cards and imagine the rest to fade away. If they choose red, you ask them to name hearts or diamonds, then the value and then imagine all the other suits and values and even the backs fading away. Now you just take the deck out of the case, spread and show there is only one card that has a face among all the cards that are blank on both sides. You can do some sleight of hand to show the selected card also has a back if wanted or you can have a presentation where it has no back either.

Another method that would need some modification
