As an addition, you can choreograph it perfectly to end with either going back, or handing out an extra orange card at the end and everything is copacetic. This routine (thank you Mark) and this wallet seem made for each other.

I think Looch does a far better job of teaching it especially in the context of taking something from a spectator and handing them something else but I don’t recall whether it is in his first Penguin lecture or his Your Thoughts are mine DVD set.

The switch taught in Brainless Travellers by James Brown would work well which looks very similar and is well taught.

Can't remember which effect it was but I remember Peter Nardi sharing a switch like Daley's Delight but you don't have to cross over your hand. I do believe Paull Carnazzo also uses this same switch with his Infiniti Blocks. I believe it's more natural looking than the Daley's Delight.

I don’t believe Looch’s version of Daleys delight crosses the hands. It is forward and back rather than left/right like the original. One hand takes something back from the spectator (in this case the card) whilst the other hand moves forward to hand something to them (apparently the other card). In Looch’s version he takes a packet of cards from the participant and apparent hands them the other packet.

What your descibing sounds exactly the same as the switch used in James Brown's Brainless Travellers.

Very likely although Looch originally published his routine with the switch in SAD which predates Brainless Travellers.

James does credit the move but I can't remember who he credited, either way it's nice technique and works great with Overdraft thanks for bringing it to our attention Smile

I really value the ideas shared on this forum. Thank you Mark Chandaue for sharing your great script and for getting me to think of Daley’s Delight. Just sharing a very rough presentational idea using only the 3 cards that you receive.

In John Racherbaumer’s book Card Finesse (1982) starting on page 79, there’s an item called Daley’s Delight for Divers. Works perfectly for switching the credit cards. There’s a Richard Kaufman variation that looks very good.

Received a set a few weeks ago. Really like the cards and quality. Hats off to Paul for including such an extensive set of instructions and sharing many routines. Paul could have easily not shared everything he did. Thank you Paul!

Will the extra orange card be available again or was it a one-off run? And will it be available in the US?
