Yay! Thanks. I'm glad it's working. That reinforces my theory that my htaccess file needs work. I'm glad the apps been helpful. What's your stack of choice?

So, unfortunately Iam getting the error message again over the last few days. Is it working for everyone else? Maybe it has something to do with a setting or something on my end?

I tried to access off the link to thr tutorial video and received this error message below. Could it be my internet is compromised or something? I am unfamiliar with this topic and don't know how to troubleshoot this.

OK final thing and I am wondering if anyone knows why who knows about computer security:I figured out it works great if I am at home off of my wifi, or if I am on my fiancee's network it works great , but so far only on my home internet, do I get the error message. Could this mean that my internet is somehow compromised? Or do I have some security setting that I need to turn off? How woudl I go about sleuthing this issue? Thanks!

Actually, it likely means the opposite. It sounds like either a) your firewall is too strict, or b) your browser settings are too restrictive. Sadly, this seems to be a common issues with sites hosted with HostGator, which is who I'm using. For some reason their SSL certificates are not well liked. I'm currently working on switching to a new host. Hopefully that'll solve the problem. Meanwhile, if anyone else has any thoughts, feedback, or suggestions, I'm open. Thanks! |

Yes, the issue seems to be with the SSL certificate (I suspect the site may be using a self-signed SSL certificate). One way around it is to use a VPN connection to connect to the site and often it'll work.
