I saw Jerry Sadowitz do the card to fly and then a kicker with a deck to fly!

Card to fast food drink container. It's wet and messy, but a cool trick.
I have also done a card to Big Mac. Very, Very messy. Very, very impressive. [on my C2BM, when I ordered I asked to check to see if it was hot enough, This is when I slipped the card in. The Mcservitor then bagged it all up and I was ready to spring my master stroke on my mate]

I have a friend who uses the mercury fold to make a signed card appear under the spectator's watchband! I'm still working on that one.

Anywhere as long as the specs sees it in advance. I have a card selected and signed then c*****l to the top, pick the card which is in full view the whole time and do a DL. I end clean because I use a DB.
I am sorry I really can't remember where and when I saw this first. Can't even remember who performed it.

Note: with my effect above I don't get the card signed as it is based on a dupe. Unless my friend is with me. He can duplicate stuff from seeing it just once very handy to a magi like me.

A better option than not having it signed is to do a C****r S****h. It will be 100 times more effective than just using a dupe.

I do a card to spectators wallet
or card to their own pocket. Pickpocketing works on these kind of card effects. |

The first place that I saw the premise using a double back card that Rannie mentions above was in Mentzer's Card Cavalcade 3, where it was used to make a card appear in a cardcase, but the notes mentioned it really could appear almost anywhere using the same method.
The trick in any case, of course, is finding a way to make putting the card back on the deck to turn it over look natural. EVERYTHING, magically speaking, hinges on that justification being completely convincing. |

Yeah, card to spectator's pocket, or if I'm in a restaurant type setting, card under a glass that's close to them but far away from me.

Dynamiteassasin,
How in the world can you get a selected card into the spectators wallet? That sounds crazy to me. I know that as a general rule of thumb no one on this site will just come out and say exactly how it's done, but at least tell me where I can find the reference to this, or maybe even a DVD that teaches a routine with that in it. |

To do the card to spectators wallet, you will have to do the following... C*****l the c**d to the t*p. My favorite method is the S*********c R****e p**s. Once this is done, it is a simple matter to C******t the card by useing Dingles S****r R*****d.. This allows the spectator to load the card into his own wallet without realising it.
Alternately, you can use a D***s S***l to accomplish the the initial C*****l and a H****r S****h to effect the final load... Hope this helps...

John Kennedy's Mystery Box or Tommy Wonder's Card to Ringbox get amazing reactions. I like them better than card to wallet since your hands never leave the sight of the spectator.

Doomo et al,
I still think the simple Hof****** r*****e p**** followed by a o** ha** **p p*l* gets the job done efficiently and without the extra beats needed when you use the co**** p*** and a si** sl**. Also seen some nice handlings using a pu** where the card goes on its own and no moves needed. Anyone try producing fly from their fly? Perhaps the card could be in the mouth of the fly? One guy pulled a zipper out of his case, opened the zipper and produced stuff. The zipper was NOT attached to any cloth, was like a purse frame. I use a handling of the p*** that is like what Ken Krenzel teaches in his Card Classics book. Done in the vertical plane, facing the audience. Most disarming.

Two:
Signed card to wallet - Mullica The Destination Box - Jon Allen Kennedy Box is okay too. All right, so that's three, the first two are my favorites. Reactions have been favorable with all 3. In fact presenting the destination box has landed me a couple of very high paying parties.

Card to Mouth works for me. I do the one that David Blaine does on his special, and I also do the one taught in the Ambitious Card routine in the "Born to Perform" DVD, but the David Blaine one is the trick that gets the reactions.
