I bought a False Anchors Workers Edition red-backed deck from Penguin but it didn't come with instructions for reading the backs. Usually there's a card that comes with the deck that has a link, or just explains the markings.
Anyone know where I can find the needed info? www.falseanchors.com does not have a contact link for the deck's creator, Ryan Schlutz. And Penguin is closed for the weekend. Thanks! Jerry |

I just received a deck of the False Anchors v3 (green backs). Likewise there were no instructions included nor information on where to find instructions online. I think this is very silly.
I have emailed Penguin to see if they can provide the info; but they sell thousands of products so I am not too hopeful. I have figured out most of the "workings". But still looking for one detail which was mentioned here, but I can't find - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abvPMW1OM5I (He might actually be mistaken about whether that feature exists, but I would like to know!) |

I know I am probably asking a dumb question, but by chance, are they listed in your area of My Downloads in your account?

That's a sensible suggestion, thanks Wravyn - but no, not in my penguin downloads area.
I just found the extra detail I was looking for. I still think it's wrong not to provide instructions though. I will pm jerdunn with all the details I have found... |

Thank you, Nikodemus, for generously taking time to pass along all the details on the system.
Really helpful and much appreciated! Cheers, Jerry |

You're welcome, Jerry
I received a PDF from Penguin. (Very prompt response!). There is an additional marker I missed. You could email Penguin yourself, or I could send it to you. (Or just PM you) I can't help wondering if there are lots of purchasers without the instructions. Eg this guy, trying to review the deck, but not knowing the full system - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sg_rK_kqrM |

How are they for use with poor eyesight? I have DMC ELITES which I can read, yet sometimes takes me a moment to focus in on

Hi Wravyn,
I am planning to write a short review in the relevant forum. I'll do it in the next day or so. The short answer is they are pretty good, apart from one very disappointing design decision that makes it hard to tell Kings from Queens. Nick |
