You might get some inspiration from Paul Daniel's linking ring routine
In that video, his volunteer is a young adult but he did it with a child on his show. |

When it comes to routines, the one I perform is based on Harry Anderson's routine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCPSZaeAulI&t=836s It's at 8:05.
I added a technique for freely showing the key from Dan Garrett's Ticklers And Teasers notes. I use a linking technique from Karrell Fox's AbraKFox. By the way, if you need to repair a plating chip, I used a Liquid Chrome paint marker made by Molotow. I just touched up a ring with it and it seems to be a perfect repair. If you'd like a published routine, I'd perform Whit Haydn's. |

Kimmo's presentation of Whit Hayden's routine is one of the best linking ring routines I've seen for kids. I believe it's available on Kimmo's video "Talk to the Hand".

I've done Whit Hayden's routine, it works for kid shows. It is engaging and fun. I generally use an adult rather than a kid to help though as it just seems to work better that way.

Eric Lewis routine is the traditonal 8 ring routine with two volunteers. Plays well and nothing complicated. It is in his Trilogy books.
