Lots of other books in store from Penguin/Hermetic this year including:

52 Farewells - Geoff Latta
Studies in Deception - Aurelio Paviato

and many more!

That's exciting news. I didn't expect that there will be another book on Geoff Latta's work. I assume the content of book will be all about his card tricks like the title implies, correct?

Correct!

A little perplexed on the situation for Marlo: The Final Cut, the third Marlo book in the trilogy from Magic Inc. Are there any updates on this? Originally it was slated for Oct of last year. Magic Inc said they had issues & were halting pre-orders but also they would send out more info shortly; which I don't think happened? At least publicly.

Just wondering if anyone heard anything!

It is likely in the same place Todd Karr's book on Erdnase is dwelling. Or maybe it fell off a ship like the initial run of Mr. Jennings Takes It Easy.

I can live with a delay--even a lengthy one. But there has to be communication.

There's great news for fans of Phedon Bilek's mentalism. He has TWO books scheduled for release this year.

The first is Hermes, devoted to Phedon’s work on the 2 person code. It is 90 pages long, an A5 soft-cover in the style of Phasma and Proteous.

The second is Orpheus, an elegantly produced 350 page book, similar in appearance to his celebrated release, Orion, and designed to sit handsomely next to it on your bookshelf. Orpheus is anchored by Phedon’s propless Q & A, "Cartesian Q & A," which takes up the first half of this tome. Following this are several more effects, primarily billet work, including his take on classic effects. In addition, Phedon has included essays on a variety of topics dear to his heart. Orpheus also showcases contributions from other performers and includes links to videos that clarify fine points and will enhance the reader’s learning process.

Careful, if you mention "Magic" and "Electronics" in the same sentence 3 times in the same thread, Mario the Maker is compelled to make a new robot, more powerful and magical than the last, and that much closer to self-awareness. Don't let the machines win.

An expanded electronic edition of "Percolations" is now available at Vanishing Inc., with all proceeds benefitting the Vanishing Inc. Magic Fund ( https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/card-m......lations/ ). The backstory can be found here >> https://forums.geniimagazine.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=54725 . An intentionally obtuse video for the out-of-print hard copy edition (complete with swarm of attacking butterflies) can be found here >> https://youtu.be/Io_z8s8jvco
