Piff the Magic Book enters the fray. VI seems pretty proud of this one, which is saying sopmething.

They sold a small number of copies at Magic Live. I landed one, and it's become one of my favorite magic books.

I clearly won't do any of the tricks, but it thoroughly documents a unique performer and the many minute decisions he made developing his unique material and act. And it's written with intelligence and style.

Highest recommendation.

Thanks Tim. When you say you won't do the material is that because it's specific to his show and style? That was my suspicion also but was curious since you have read it.

The book won't technically be in people's hands until 2024, but a Kickstarter for my book SYNTHESIS & SECRETS is launching in a few weeks! It'll be an extremely limited, clothbound hardcover printing gorgeously designed by Stina Henslee, illustrated by Sara Froese, and edited by Mike Vance.

It features 20 effects and sleights with mostly cards and coins - including an in-depth treatise on my famous Kras Change - as well as 9 essays on the synthesis of magic and theatre inspired by my career as a playwright, director, actor, and a resident magic associate for the international stage sensation Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

More to come, and people who want to be first to know about the Kickstarter launch can sign up with their email on my website (I promise I won't email you literally anything else!): https://www.michaelkrasworks.com/synthesis-secrets
