I've read the post on 'tattoos' but it was more about peoples opinions of them being on show during a performance.
I'm thinking about getting the word 'magic' on my lower back and wondered if anyone else has any kind of 'magic' related tatoos? |

I've got the four aces on my inner right arm. Also, I have an old-style padlock on my left arm in honor of Houdini.

I posted this before but I have the Chinese for "Black Magic" on my shoulder. I live in Taiwan if that sounds a little odd.
Do not get anyone to do chinese on you in England though I have seen the characters and they are terrible if it is not someone that really knows chinese. |

Why would anyone want to mutilate their body with ugly tattoo's. Tattoo's are not natural and are pretty discusting. Only someone of low self esteem would put that junk on their body.
I just want one more tattoo and that will be a Hooka Smoking Caterpillar. That will be the end to my Tattoo's. 4 is enough. Maybe to make the caterpillar more magical, he will wear a top hat. Iven

Aint that the truth. It took more than 10 years of thought before I got my first one but it was only a few months and I got my second tattoo (and my left ear pierced). My last tattoo (#3) was a professional job done in a tattoo parlor.
I don't know if this is common but I find that getting tattoo's can be quite addictive or at least something that one wants to do every so often. I will get one more and that will probably be it for me. None of mine show unless I want them to show. I have one on my upper left arm and one each on the inside ankles of my left and right legs. I would like to get my last one done by Lyle Tuttle if he is still alive and doing them. His Daughter was going to do my first tattoo but the price was more than I wanted to pay. Iven

I like the four aces on the inner arm Firedice, you could do some very cool tricks with that. The addictive thing is what I'm worried about as most people don't stop at one.
I'm still looking for a good design before I take the plunge, any designs (you can sent a pm) by your talented and wonderful selfs would be really appreciated |

I have not found an image or words that I would want to have as a permanent reminder or decoration.
If I could get a Tat that I could remove when I wanted then I would get one. If I was told to have one, I would go for a raised tribal tattoo. This is done by cutting the skin and folding it in on itself. When healed you have a 3D tattoo with no ink used.

I have seen a few sports figures who have them. Some people get Branded but I don't like to be burned but they look pretty good also. Iven

If you will work in Japan as a magician, don't show your tattoo while performing. Tattoo is a taboo.

Is that true? Tattoos are looked down upon in Japan? Why is that? I'm just curious.
