I think these two spectators are contenders. One of them smiles a tiny bit about halfway through, otherwise...nada.

I’d say they’re sat patiently as the video is being made.
Some really good moments of magic in this video. M

I noticed that as well Smile. David from the L&L days would have been flipping out.

You just made me feel nostalgic by mentioning David...
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

The two spectators are in the worst position to get a good view of the trick. For the demo, he should have performed as if the camera were the audience. He didn’t need a live audience. Also, when you take away The John Kennedy and Dean Dill parts, I wonder what part he’s claiming as his.

Remember Richard Osterlind once telling David to tone it down on one video, haha.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Good magic but it looks to me like the two spectators had seen it a hundred times and never wanted to be
in the video to start with. That's what happens when you force people to watch.

The problem with most routine like that is once the first one goes you know the ending.

Why wouldn’t they get other spectators is the question? Once you see it on video and edit in the dramatic music certainly someone saw how flat it landed.

Looks absolutely normal and fine to me, as far as a short coin effect goes. And way more realistic than the L&L days.

The lady on right reminds me of Teller.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
