Just joined today. I performed numerous shows in the 1980s and 90s focusing on kids parties and a few adult parties. Used a mix of Small illusions, stage illusions and a full 20 minute livestock routine with a Rabbit, Duck, and Doves. I've been lugging around a ton of equipment each time I have moved since then hoping I would again fund time for this passion. Well now its time. Going to put out the shingle again and see what flies. Curious about fees, show lengths, and show types. I emphasized deadpan humor, sucker gags, and awe-inspiring illusions. I feel like I might be a dinosaur in this new world. What type of shows/illusions are people successful with these days?
