Need some advice please regarding Mnemonica. I have the stack down cold. I studied downloads by Darwin Ortiz and Mem deck the nest step by Michael Close. I really learn best with Video tutorials. Can any one offer other video downloads to learn some new tricks. I have The text Mnemonica but really learn best with instructional videos. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't see it offered in a download but you'll definitely want to get Simon Aronson's Sessions with Simon Volume 3.

Simon Aronson Volume 3 is available via download on Vanishing Inc.

A great purchase!

Paris, I understand what you mean, but don't pass up The Buena Vista Shuffle Club book. Getting the book and learning "Casa Blanca" is a must! Very easy to learn from text and easy to perform. Plus, some review channels on Youtube have performances of the trick. So good especially if your new to Mem deck work as I am. No math calculations. You need to do a little estimation of where a card is in the deck, but if your wrong, you can easily correct it. It's part of the trick! Best of all, you and the spectator do magic. You read minds and they predict the future.

Hey Paris, I agree that Casablanca is a great trick to get going with a mem-deck. Others that I would put into this category are:
- Test Your Luck by Darwin Ortiz (Penguin Live 2013)
- Two Beginnings by Simon Aronson, and
- Invisible Card by Simon Aronson.

Both of the Aronson tricks are featured on Sessions with Simon Aronson Vol 3, which is a an awesome video, as Aaron E and The_MetalMaster have already mentioned.

As you can see, all of the above are available on video, including Matt Baker’s Casablanca (At The Table Lecture - 2019)

I hope this helps

I'm about to buy Matt's At the Table lecture. I want to make sure Casablanca can be performed without a table? Thanks!

It can definitely be done without a table. The only part that needs care is when you hand the spectator the deck because you need to select a card from her. The selection should be done with your head turned away, ideally out of a spread. However, this could be managed in various other ways to make sure the spectator doesn’t ‘mis-handle’ the deck.
