Honestly no .... I have found out over the years that there are more and more magicians in this area I had no clue they were around. Such as MagicBarry.com and Zecklermagic.com I think he is. Charlotte has a lot of magicians ..... believe it or not.

I went to magicbyengine.com and it said it was not up? Did it work on your site?

Update: I emailed that guy and he said thanks for posting it for him.... seems he is not able to come in here for whatever reason. He wouldn't say. We are going ot meet up and session though ... Pretty neat I thought!

Sounds to me like you better be careful. I would like to know why he can't come into the Magic Café' and what is he hiding?

I went back and looked at the rules .... it appears that he is only running against the Andy guy. that's cool though ... I know how the magic commuity is ... heck I should be jelous I want to be doing the commercial ...

You would be suprised....there are some BIG names in magic that cannot come in here due to some other big names of magic or the advertisers. I will not mention one of them that I know, but I will say that he is known by everyone.

What I said was mostly in jest and partly serious.
We have all heard of the Predators that lurk on the Internet so I was just suggesting to err on the side of safety and to check things out a bit before meeting him somewhere. Could be a serial killer or worse.

Alright gentleman, seems I need to chime in here and set the record straight.

First, when there is a problem on the Café, we handle the issue BEHIND the scenes as it were. It is the only professional thing to do - no sense wasting other people's time with such drabble. If someone cannot or will not follow our guidelines (and after many warnings) we politely and quietly escort them to the door. Like the drunks and loud obnoxious folks who occassionally wander into your local eating establishments, we do have to deal with those type of people from time to time, this is after all, the internet. Easy for folks to misbehave while hiding behind a keyboard as it were. Remember, when a manager removes an undesirable from his restaurant, he does not parade the person from table to table explaining to the other patrons WHY this particular person is being removed, they are simply escorted out. We do the same.

Regarding former member Enigma, he was not able to adhere to our policies, therefore he is gone. Simple as that. 'Nuff said.

Gee, news to me. Frankly, that is simply just not true. Anyone who is BANNED from this website has done something to earn their situation. Contrary to any possible rumors, we do not spend our time banning folks. But then again, I am not a professional babysitter. IF people cannot understand and/or practice good manners and common courtesy, yes, they will be asked to leave. If you are breaking the law (involved in bootlegging, etc) you will be asked to leave. But only -AFTER- you have been asked and/or warned. In addition, our sponsors (advertisers) do NOT dictate who can or cannot participate on MY PRIVATE website. I hope that is clear to anyone who might have thought otherwise. Likewise, just because you're famous, does NOT give you any say in the day to day operations of the Café. Geez, where does this stuff come from?

Anyway, I try to avoid public squabbles, it's simply not worth my time and energy. I have plenty of tasks to do here each day. Defending the way the Café is run is not one of them. Have a question? Read the policies, they are very specific. But then again, everyone who is a member here has supposedly already read them, as evidenced by the little box they check when joining.
