Vanishing Ketchup Labels
I made these over a decade ago and still get asked once or twice a year for them. I am now offering them for free. This is the original formatting and text. Ignore any pricing or reviews. If you want to tip me for the work, I will not object, but they are free. Here is the direct link to download them: https://www.captainkidmagic.com/wp-conte......om-1.pdf I recommend you get these printed out at http://GotPrint.com or someplace that can print on white static cling. You can print white static cling on an inkjet printer. I personally have never used them since I find the Coke bottles better, but hey, to each his own. I use to own a graphic design company, so making them was not a big deal. Now I know there are a lot of armchair attorneys out there. Please keep your legal advice to yourself. One Café member went so far as to report me to Heinz. *L* What an ... Of course, nothing happened. I am not going to debate the legality of this with people who don't have an idea of what they are talking about, so please don't try. My wife and I own a law firm and I owned a graphics design company for 20 years. If you don't want to use them, don't. I am not twisting any arms, they are a gift. If you like them, please say so on this thread. |

These are great! Makes me wish I had one of the original bottles instead of the newer shaped one.

I've never understood Heinz harassing a small niche business like Nielsen Magic over the ketchup bottle design (forcing Nielsen to go with a generic bottle design instead of the iconic Heinz bottle shape that is so well-known). Any performer who uses a Heinz bottle in their performance is giving free advertising to Heinz. In television and films this is called "product placement" advertising and companies PAY money for their products to be featured in television shows or movies. If someone were to slap these labels on bottles of real ketchup and attempt to sell them to the public in direct competition with Heinz then obviously that is out of bounds, but the intention here is not in any way to compete with Heinz to sell ketchup. It's a PROP. for a magic show. It's not hurting Heinz and if anything it is giving them free advertising for their product. Quote:
