Grabbed a copy of the hardcover edition this morning! As of now, the hardcover and softcovers are still both available but I imagine that won't last long; from what I've seen, there are only 3,000 copies of the softcover and 1,500 of the hardcover!

Derren’s message: ‘We’ve had to pause book orders for a bit on my site but bear with us - the remaining hardbacks and paperbacks will be up again soon. Kinda went mad today.’

Hello magicians since the 12 of July ordered my Paperback but nothing has been delivered, just the order confirmation received. I am in Germany, anyone with the same issue?

They’re behind in shipping. I ordered on July 5 and just got a shipping notice on July 25.

Delay in shipping is pretty poor imho. I'm all for supporting the creator but they need to play their part too.

It’s been a month since the release but many people (including me) still haven’t received any shipping notification. Even if there is only a small team to prepare packing and shipping, the capacity still seems very low. Smile

I understand that the team is little. But lot of people ordered after me and received the shipping confirmation 2 weeks a go. When you are Derren Brown you know that everything you put on the market, will sold out in minutes and be a over request there, I can't imagine that they are sitting 2 people there and ship all over the world. DMC has a little team as well but in 2 weeks you receive his deck of cards. Little disappointed to wait a month for even a shipping confirmation to be honest

It’s worth the wait.

Ordered at July 11th, still no shipping conformation. Contact them by mail, no reply received. A reply just to inform about the delay in shipment would have been nice.

Well, after leaving the UK last week and getting through customs in NY on Saturday, my package is finally expected to be delivered today… in California. Problem is, I live in Massachusetts. At this point I’m just laughing, because what else am I supposed to do? Emailed the DB store, hoping they sent me the wrong tracking info because otherwise I’ll have to deal with USPS.

Deluxe Edition arrived safely in Australia just over a week ago. It is beautiful. And yes, VERY worth the wait.

Received my paperback here in NYC today. It's a pretty hefty book. Can't wait to start reading it.

I'm only 20% of the way through this book but I already feel comfortable calling this a neo-classic. This is a practical, digestible, thoughtful treatise on magic performance, particularly in a theatrical, structured setting the way Derren is known for. It's stimulating, entertaining, and deeply insightful every step of the way. It will be named among the best performance theory books ever written for magicians; I'm certain of that.

I'm close to the end of the book and there are also some detailed tips for close-up performances. Overall, it's a very entertaining read, and I like his sense of humour.

I'm 150 pages in. His writing style has always been easy to follow and read - and I appreciate his philosophy on storytelling in mentalism. The way he can take a simple trick and make it something grand through his showmanship or storytelling skills. It's making me realize so much!
