Definitely like the looks of this. Looks like a lot of fun! Good old-fashioned sleight of hand.

I agree it looks great. Particularly like the Ring Thing move - very visual.
Would love to see what Greg has come up with |

I do have a question and hope Ian or Alakazam can pop on here to answer; Are both of the key gimmicks cut? It looks like the ring key is cut and at one point in the video it looks like the strait key is cut but then at another point in the video it looks like the strait key is uncut?
I hope they are consistent and have them both cut or both uncut.

If we're going off of Craig Petty's attitude on keymaster, the idea is that you could cut it to match your own key - and it would actually work.
Of course, even aside from the usual problem of "what if that isn't the brand of my house key?", this one has the additional issue of "how do you expect us to cut (let alone match/use) the actual ring key? |

Yes we had them cut because you would be able to cut the bent key! Thanks for the kind words everyone!

This is a great EDC item, really visual and takes up minimal pocket space. Highly recommended.

This looks great. Reminds me a bit of Garrett Thomas's Opus but much more affordable. Iain is killing it lately.

I’ve liked this since Iain showed it to me at Blackpool.
Mines on the way, and it’l be on my keys next to Hide-A-Key. Chris

I wanted to give a shout out and thumbs up to Iain Bailey and Alakazam.
Just got this and really like it! Some really good stuff here. Iain is on a roll with his latest releases. This doesn’t use any newfangled gimmicks, just good old sleight of hand. But most of it is pretty easy. An excellent EDC, the props are sturdy and robust with no little gimmicks to lose or break. The tutorial runs about an hour and 40 minutes so it covers a lot. Garrett Thomas even has his own segment on it because he’s a big fan of this effect. You have the freedom to mix and match and create your own custom routine. It can be modular so you can go longer or shorter. Kind of combines some coin stuff with ring stuff with key stuff. Some really nice thinking from Iain. Props are very well made, ready to go out of the box, and it only costs just over $30. This is one of those props that are fun to practice and try different things. |
