They late great Alan Alan was the escapologist who made the upside down burning rope escape popular. He even did it once on an early David Copperfield TV Special. I believe it inspired Copperfield to perform his own version of the straitjacket escape later also with the burning rope presentation.


Did anyone here ever have the pleasure of meeting or working with Alan Alan? Would love to hear about him.
