Hi all,
At the moment I'm learning hw to foce cards upon spectators. But say you did it all right but the spectator still picked the wrong card what do you say to stop the trick. Someone told me to say "oops I missed a part of my trick" so you start it again. But that sounds kind of un perfessional. So does anyone have any suggestions

Do a trick were no force is needed when he picked the wrong card. (ACR,.... there a thousands suggestions. search for fasdiu (from a shuffled deck in use))

Or do a classic-force-out and still force it Smile

Prettylady,
I sounds as if you are using the classic force.
Most books and performers will tell you that, if the spectator doesn't pick the right card, go into another trick that doesn't need a forced card.
That, to me, is not really very good advice; what if your act is routined to that you can't really go into "another trick"?
Better to use a force where they have no choice but to take the force card -- the slip force, the cut-deeper force, the Hindu force, etc.
For working pros, who can't afford to miss, a one-way deck is used a lot more than you might think.

Thanks Peter for the tip.
I havn't learnt the cut-deeper force yet but it's next on my list. I guess the idea of changing the trick would work in some situations but not others.

Everytime you go to perform another card effect, try the Clasic force. This will give you room to practise and if you fail, you continue as you had planned to with the original effect.

Do it everytime and you will learn the force quicker,

Always thinking..........?
