Hey Guys,
I just prepared my cards ujsing the method that McBride talks about in vo. 2 of The Art of Card Manipulation (the one with the ruler). But when I took my cards out of the press, they were not pressed, like nothing had happened. So my question is, how long should I leave them in the press? Thanks, Kyle |

I use two presses and alternate which days I use them. One is used on odd, the other even. The decks are fine when they are removed. Even when I store them overnight, they are fine. It should be mentioned that I live in the desert with very low humidity and I'm sure that has an impact. I have not had the same success when I'm near the ocean. You may have to experiment.

Get the Porper ones... all the others are not quite made right. You can get 'em at hocus-pocus.com

I'm very satisfied with Norm Nielson's. I haven't seen Joe's (Porper).

Nielson's is pretty good and I have had nice results with it. I also have used two very heavy books as well in dire times when I did not have a press. If you leave them overnight it works ok.

Thanks to everybody. I got the Neilson and haven't had any problems with it, and it worked perfectly.
