Do you use the 50 card undercut method or the henweigh feint? What's a henway? Is it hard to do? Some on PM me. I don't want to buy one until I know how it works.

The henweigh is okay, but I prefer the quakemake.

What's a henweigh? About four pounds!
Regarding beating this dead horse -- we haven't even killed it yet! Regarding the labels under your names -- I'm a moderator over at another forum. I had to put up with people who had been in the business for 30 years who registered for the forum and didn't like the label "apprentice." It puzzled me a bit, because Max Maven put up with it. Just understand. The labels mean nothing. And the number of posts is strictly a minor filter. Some time, when you don't have anything better to do, look at some of the threads that were started by people who had three posts back in 2003, and people are still answering them. These people who started the threads never posted anything else. And most of these threads were "no brainers" -- things like "Where can I get genuine Fox Lake cards?" The 50 post requirement to get into the banquet room is just a simple fliter that keeps the Café from having to devise a test that would be very difficult to administer fairly. Get over it.

Some of the best people I have spoken to in this business, yourself included Bill, have an air of modesty about them which, although they probably know they are among the best, it is not forced upon you. The likes of Banachek, Richard Osterlind, Derren Brown, Luke Jermay and obviously Max Maven from the example above, although I have not spoken personally to him. The list could go on as I have spoken to many nice guys in the business, then experienced the other end of the spectrum. I just wish someone would release a book on the importance of not feeling self-important. /rant |

I think a good title for such a book would be If You Think You Are So Important, Have You Ever Spent the Afternoon in a Morgue?
If you really want to have a feeling of how "important" each one of us is, there is a place in Vienna that is worth a look. It is called "Die Kaisergrüfte" -- "The Imperial Crypt." It contains the caskets and vaults holding the remains of most of the Habsburgs. These people were the most important people of their times in Europe. The world literally revolved around them. And, amazingly enough, it still revolves without them. Kinda takes your breath away, in a spooky way. And it makes you wonder what people will remember you for.
