This is great stuff! I can't wait to try it out. After reading it once my mind is brewing with ideas.
Im sure many magicians/mentalists already know that the effects that emotionaly involve your audience are the ones that will be remebered the most. If you can get a spectator to connect with an effect on an emotional level, you have the potential to not just entertain them, but to inspire them as well. Once you have established the ability to provoke a powerful emotion in a spectator your credibility will make other areas(i.e. suggestion, induction, cold reading, advice etc...) much easier to pull off. If you can pull off Emotions-All the audience WILL believe in you. Gregs equivoque is of the highest caliber. His work on this principle is brilliant and simple. One addition that he has made to Floater is something that can be applied to almost any equivoque sequence to make it even more deceptive. If anyone is afraid of equivoke, this book will give you the neccesary knowledge to pull it off with ease. Oh yeah, their's a couple more effects in the book. A spectator deals cards into any number of piles he chooses, picks any one up(no equivoque) And the performer calls out each card in his hand, then this is repeated with each pile. How about, the performer spreads an ordinary deck and the spectator is told to think of one... the performer tells him which card he is thinking of!? A spectator, chosen at random, is asked for their birthday. The cards (ordinary deck) are dealt according to the month and day they are born until a card is arrived at. A calander is opened to that very date and it matches their card! (You have no knowledge of the date before hand, nor do you need to know any stacks to pull this off) Adams Prediction is not for me, but some might like it. It is a prediction effect that is somewhat light hearted and fun, but still impossible. I can see this being a hit in the hands of the right performers. This book also has some insight on magic in general that will hopefully be a wake up call to some performers that read it. Thanks, Greg, for an excellent ebook... keep em' comin. |

I've read Deep Thought and didn't like most of it, not because it wasn't good (there are good routines there) but because most of it is mental-magic, dealing with predictions and the like (I thought we've advanced since those days).
HOWEVER the emotions routine is brilliant and a true mental masterpiece, worth many times the asked price. I advise Greg to direct his creativity to new-age mentalism or as a known mentalist once said to me: "stop playing with cards and start being a genuine mentalist". I like his thinking and I'm sure he could come up with even more amazing effects. I recommand Deep Thought highly for that single routine. Nimrod , Israel |

I have a problem that someone has ordered it and no matter how many times I send it the file comes back as having not found that email address.
Does anyone know a Wolf Von Biala? The weird thing is he sends me an email and gets here, but when I try to send it back it comes back as an error. I'm trying to locate him because he did pay for it, but the file keeps coming back. Greg

I really enjoyed this! I thought it was engagingly written and contained some outstanding routines. There was stuff that didn’t appeal to me, but Emotion-all, Adam's Prediction, and Scorch are all things that I would consider adapting for my own use. That’s good value! The stuff on equivoque described in Scorched is invaluable.
Well done Greg! |

Thank you, David. I am very happy to hear that so far everyone has found at least one item in there that they can put to use.

Just finished Greg's e-book 2 days ago, and I love it. Besides the obviously well thought out routines in it, it really inspired me to rethink much of my current performance material. Deep Thoughts really has a lot more going for it than even the strong effects. I feel that all of the effects are easilly personalized to each person's act and performing style. I highly recomend it.

Oh good less people performing the emotional thingy or scorched.
Thanks Greg for some great fun - nice to read a book full of effects while I've been hiding in the world of methods! |

This is getting strange. I stopped selling the e-book and now I've gotten many emails from around the world asking for it. I guess people want what they can't get.
Anyway, everyone has been very nice about the ebook and the stuff inside so I'll will keep it up on the market for another two weeks or so. I'm also getting some bites about the possibilities that one of the big magic distributors would like to take it as a book, but that's up in the air. So, for those that have asked, just PayPal $20 to greg@wizmicro.com and I'll send you the ebook. Greg

Do yourself a favor and buy it now before it's too late and Greg changes his mind. This manuscript is top notch in every respect. Indeed, there are several effects included that are true reputation-makers. Thanks Greg for sharing this with all of us.
