Just took delivery of the Lennart Green 6 volume DVD Green Magic series and overall I'm little disappointed with my purchase.
First thing I noticed was the sound volume quality, to me the sound of Lennart and the sound of the audience has been recorded at 2 different volume levels, with the audience being louder then Lennart i.e. when you're listening to Lennart patter it's fine, but when the audience respond to a revelation with applause it's considerably louder then Lennart's speaking volume. Rather annoying..... Second, I found some of the material a little bit repetitive, a few of the tricks seemed to overlap in some respects and some sleights demonstrated in one DVD seemed to be covered again (to a certain extent) in another DVD. Other forum members have commented saying they thought some of the DVD's were 'filler', I'd agree with this. I bought the DVD's knowing that they were advanced card work, so I went in with attitude of, if it's to advanced for me I'll just sit back enjoy watching it. On a positive side, Lennart is funny. On a few occasions Lennart appears to lose complete control over the cards, dropping cards all over the place and trying to 'cover up' the fact that the 'odd' card has fallen out. Those of you who have seen it will know what I mean. I was really looking forward to this DVD series, but sadly I was left feeling a little empty. I kind of wish I'd bought ETMCM 7-9 or Ortiz's new At the Card Table DVDs instead. Peakey |

I didn't like how he'd sometimes say that he'd already explained this on the first set of three, but he'll show it again, anyhow. Makes me wish I never bought the first set at all.
By the way, the Ortiz dvds are re-released from video. Still an excellent series, though. Brian |

I couldn't agree more. I love lennart's magic but his dvds are not quite his performing caliber. I don't like how he used all his false shuffles in all of the dvds and routines that he does but only teaches his most convincing (and therefore most frequently used) ones in volume 4. also some of the teaching segments are horrendous and he just breifly touches on one subject and the camera angle is just dead-on, like a spectator would see. cant learn very well from that

I love lennart. although volume 6 should have been called "Differnt Applications of the Snap Deal" . I love the Snap Deal and bought the $8 booklet off MagicProShop.com and it's awesome Plus I love his volume 4 false shuffles and his volume 1 with so much great information !

Lennart material is great... but I guess they shouldn't have produced so many DVD.
I have his first (?) tape named "green magic" which contains most of the moves he created and I think there's enough material here for most people |

Yes this is definately a situation where all the content would actually fit on one or 2 DVDs, I don't regret the purchase, but you expect a bit more than 50 minutes on a DVD when it is part of a series of 6.

I would've also been happy with just a 1-2 DVD set instead of dragging it out to 6 DVDs.

Volume one for sure. you get to see his FISM winning act which is great and you can learn a bunch of sleights.

I love the magic on these series! I think his style is unique and has taken magic to another level!

I find it, on the whole, very dull.
It's clever but not very entertaining. Far too much shuffling and counting and dealing etc. I'm sure a gambling audience would love it. I like the visual stuff like the laser deal etc but when he comes up with a full house or suited run after lengthly shuffling for the 3rd time I'm reaching for the fwd button. |

I am just satisfied my Green's DVD collections Snap deal is just a killer. I love the false deal. May be He is a good performer and not a good teacher as Michael Ammar ? Just opinion.
