Looks great Vinny but "open prediction" generally means the audience would see that you predicted the ten of spades before the card was chosen.

Sorry Vinny,
While your trick is strong, it doesn't follow the conditions set forth of the original open prediction plot. It's called open prediction for one reason. That's because the performer "openly" places a card face up on the working surface as a prediction. Therefore, the audience already knows the identity of the prediction card before the trick proceeds. Writing the prediction on a business card is strong--but not actually an open prediction. It's a secret prediction. |

Actually, others have used a similar approach by writing the prediction on a piece of paper. See Marlo's "Open Prediction" on page 152 of the Cardician. So Vinny, if it's good enough for Marlo it's good for you.
