I'm preparing to relocate and during packing I found a plastic container of flash paper that I forgot I had. Any suggestions on how to destroy it safely? I thought about just putting it in my grill and igniting it.

That's what I would do.

Often older flash paper will burn slower than if it was new. This is actually a plus and may increase the misdirection a practical performer is seeking.
Maybe a fellow magician could put it to good use? We've always stored our flash paper in a cool dark area inside a heavy metal container... Julie |

Agree with Julie. I actually prefer older flash paper for that reason. Especially flash bills.

But how do you keep it from crumbling and not burning completely? That happened to a performer I worked with.

'Never had that problem. Maybe it's because we store flash paper in a sealed and isolated container in maintained cool surroundings?
