Yes, It's a great gag, and always gets a laugh.
Your choices in life can be compared to watching a magic trick: You can continue to believe the illusion in front of you, find the intrigue and desire to learn more, or quit paying attention the moment you feel deceived.

It is not a close-up prop. This must be seen from 10 feet back to get its impact. It looks great from that distance. I bought four!

While this isn't close-up(this is a freaking AMAZING item though for parlor/stage), there is a way to do this very close-up, if your gutsy.
You can definatly use this in a "close-up" show, where you have a table and some seating, because 10 feet is more than enough cover if you keep it moving. Anyway, the gutsy way close-up(if your not gutsy enough to do it for real) is have your own black leather wallet and a silver metal band watch in one of your pockets, so its easy to grab. Then proceed to "pick" and "replace" the objects, if done right (have the spec hold his hands behind his back, ect), it is a pretty good illusion. |

This sounds like a great product. I'll be picking this up soon. Those who have already purchased it, please write a review when you get a chance. Thanks.

Got it. Used it in a comedy club act the other night and it got great laughs. I used the suggestion that came with it of borrowing a couple of bills out of the wallet than giving it back to the spectator as a gift for helping.
I will probably order one or two more to keep in my stand-up act case, close up bag, and to have as a backup. |

When I opened it I was not so satisfied but indeed it is not a close up item. However from a very little distance it is something that you can use succesfully and I am sure it is something I will use.
Finally opinion:highly recommended!(the price is ok a well!)

I just picked one of these up. Lots of potential here for a stage worker. And the price is very fair.

Could someone explain what you can do with it?
Thanks Brad

I also have Tom Burgoon's "Cellular Foam". It goes along with the Power Pickpocket. It's a cell phone made in the same manner as the wallet for the other gag. Anybody wanna buy it?

If you're asking about the "Cellular Foam", I bought it from Tom during a lecture tour about 4 years ago.

I've already ordered this, mainly because I was making an order for other books when this poped up and it was the right price(an impluse buy) I'm an amature when it comes to pick pocketing but for an amature I'm pretty good.
I'll probably recieve this in the next week or so. Is what you guys are saying is that you don't really pick the spectators actual wallet? if so I'm not to bothered as I can pick their wallets anyway I just wanted somthign to make life easier

Hi,
I'll probably buy one (or more) in my next order (just sent one.. )... Just a question: Is it possible to use it with just ONE hand? or it requires necessary the use of two? In stage act... thanks Mauro |

It's possible to do one handed.
And, while it certanly works fine on stage, it's not at all impossible to do close-up. I've done it hundreds of times while table-hopping. |

My question is do you really need this wallet. Why not just use a regular wallet that you have pretended to pick from someone's pocket. I have done this on numerous occasions. Always works.
