I got a Super PomPom Stick as an opening routine and am wondering how you all use it.
Do you just do the standard "Red pompom is connected to the Green pompom, which is connected to the Yellow pompom..." or have you developed a better Gospel patter? I'm looking for ideas. Also, do you use it primarily in the beginning of your presentation, middle or the end? Thank you in advance! |

Off the top of my head, you could certainly tie it into a "one body, many parts" script!

I like Nick's idea.
I think a "separation" theme could work well, too. You could talk about how sin separates us from God, or you could talk about how nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (Romans 8).

A couple of times I used t to describe prayer. I was never quite satisfied with my patter, but it may be worth pursuing. Using two poms on one side, when I pray to God there is a connection to God. Using a lower pom on the other side, when I pray for others, I am connected to them - and they are connected to God. Using both poms on other side, when people and events are connected, they may also be connected to God. When I pray for world event, I cam better connected to the world and remain connected to God. Somehow, all the things remain connected to God. Opening the pom, I don;t quite know how it all works - prayer can be mysterious. What I do know (reconnecting the gimmick) is that everything is connected to God, and through prayer we are all remain connected to God.
