Curious as to why the mechanical deck Mene-Tekel is
named that. In the book of Daniel it is what was written on the wall by a hand in front of the King. Daniel interpreted the meaning. (Weights and measures) and God was weighing the King's actions. Could it be that the card placed in the middle of the deck and jumps to the too defies gravity? Just curious if anyone has any insight. Also an interesting possible biblical routine.

In the old days when Burling Hull invented and named this effect, it was accepted to name any trick just any old thing. I wouldn't depend on the name to derive a presentation.
