Hi.
I'm looking for a card control that I did another time and forgot about. It's a control on the bottom of the deck. Pretty easy but I don't remember the movement. It is said in a video that it is used by Tamariz but that this control is from Hofzinser. I don't remember if it's a video from Tamariz himself or another person. I vaguely remember a card that you slide to the side or curl. This is not Tamariz Perpendicular Control and not a Cull control. In my memory, the control is carried out when we reassemble the two parts of the deck cuted in two. But not sure. Any ideas? |

Could be the Elliott control or a variation of it.

I'm starting to remember...:
The deck is divided into 2 parts. The card to control is under the top half part. The hands bring the 2 parts together obliquely The upper left corner of the right hand half part hovers over the lower right corner of the left hand half part. But when the deck is almost collected the right hand comes back (I don't remember the motivation) There is a movement which should buccle the bottom card of the the right hand part. So there is a space between this bottom card and the rest of the right hand part. The right hand moves forward and diagonally again but this time the bottom card of the packet in the right hand passes invisibly under the half held in the left hand. It should look like this. But I'm missing details and subtleties... It looks a bit like a kelly bottom replacement but more lateral or more obliquely... |

Hi karld
Seems very similar to the Elliott Control by Bruce Elliott. This can be found in Best in Magic by Bruce Elliott, p122. Also in New Phoenix 336. |
