Interested to learn your opinions on the easiest control to the top. I do not mean things like a multiple shift or side steal. I mean stupid easy or discrepant, like Ackerman's Ultimate Gesture Cut.

A double undercut is as good as any control according to Ed Marlo.

According to Marlo? Fascinating.

It’s easy more important than effective?

I like to use shuffle controls. They're easy enough and reliable. I prefer them to a double undercut.
Magicfish also mentioned a great one. |

Theres a few fairly easier ones for your consideration.
If course, they all require context, motivation, misdirection, direction, etc. Some make sense within the context of a performance some won't. Just some different tools . |

All expertly done, magicfish.
I would add Paul LePaul's Automatic Jog-Control. https://youtu.be/ZvRGe0Lx3Gk?si=8ElaAeg5ZafdUGpK |

Nobody be angry at this but any move of any sort should be practiced and rehearsed until it is easy.
Don’t look for one based on easy, look for one based on utility. Or don’t YMMV.
