I have recently returned from a lengthy hiatus from magic and haven't performed Ammar's card on the ceiling in years. So I wanted to make sure the secret ingredient was still good. We have popcorn ceilings so it's not a great surface for the trick. So I decided my wife's new stainless steel refrigerator was a nice smooth surface to test it on.
Ummmmmmmm...... Don't do this. The secret ingredient does not clean off stainless steel surfaces well. Lesson learned.

Ha! Hey at least the card stuck, right? This stuff works great on stainless steel: https://a.co/d/dpKkRrU

That was how it was originally done as Card on the Wall.
I believe it is a far better method.

I remember J.C.'s Bar The Magic Hat in San Diego had Cards And Dollar Bills Tacked solidly all over the ceiling. It was hard to find an empty spot. Great memories.
J.C. was my partner Tom's sessioning buddy for years when Tom was a young adult. Wish I could have been there then. -Mary Mowder |
