Hello,
Who can tell me the name of that trick or reference where to find it. Two piles of cards are made. The spectator may choose which one he wants to use. The magician and the spectator each receive an even number of cards. The magician shows the spectator with his cards what to do with his stack of cards. The spectator holds the pile face down and should place cards on the table and at some point stop and turn the entire pile over and place it on top. A second spectator picks up the deck and does the same. He lays cards on the table again, stops at some point and turns the rest of the deck over and places it on top. Then the magician turns over the spectator's cards and his own at the same time. Each pair always matches. (Spectator has 6 of hearts, magician 6 of diamonds, then second card 4 of spades and 4 of clubs,... through the whole deck) Where can I find this effect? Thank you!!

Sounds like a presentation style for a Gemini Twins handling.

Max Arcanie has an effect titled Armageddon which brings together both Simon Arronson's Shuffle-Bored and Joshua Jay's Trojan Deck. It is a free PDF and worth getting.

Hi!
You might be referring to Paul Vigil's Sympathy for the Devil. The ending and the details are a little bit different, but from the sound of your recollection of the effect it might be that might be the one. And, thanks Wravyn for mentioning Armageddon! It's available for free to anyone interested, just PM or check my website: www.trickordie.com Max |
