Hello fellow magicians!

I recently purchased Inject 2, only to find out that the app is not up to date since 10 September this year on Android and that I cannot use it. On Vanishing Inc. it is written that there will be an update of Inject 2 coming soon, so that Android users can continue to enjoy the app. In any case, I was given the option of getting reimbursed the value of the purchase or to wait for the update (no idea how long it will take).

I was wondering whether there are any people here that own the app on Android and what they think of it. Is it still worth it in 2024? Would you recommend me to wait for the update, or should I ask for an reimbursment now that I have the chance?

All advice is appreciated!

All the best,
Pedro

I would get the refund if I were you. Inject is ok but in order to really use it you need tobuy a ton of add on third party apps etc. It doesn't even come with a working user manual, instead you have to buy one from a user on the FB group.

It's plagued with issues, updates that never come, and when anyone comments about it they are told "it works fine for me". There is also no users forums or anything other than FB, and with more and more people leaving FB due to all the boomers and bots, it would be better to move to a discord group or self containted forum or something... or just update and include a user manual that doesn't lead someone to having to go to the FB to post a question.

It was also stated that inject could do everything telefoto (another great app that Greg just dropped with no warning, like so many other of his apps) could do, but that is not true. It does not give the vibration feedback which was what made telefoto so great.

Also, on the FB group you'll find greg chiming in to sell his other apps, but rarely will he interact or respond to legitimate critiques or questions. But now that the new version of inject is out, and costs more on top of the original purchase, it's unlikely that inject 2 will continue to be supported. This isn't the first time that paying customers were left out to dry and won't be the last.

And if you're just after the google peek, a billet works just as well.
