I learned it from Jay Sankey. You take two straws, wrap them around each other and they penetrate.
Where does it come from originally?
On this Youtube post there is a reaction from Jimmy Brown who claims to have invented it and published it in 1977, but I can't find the publication. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WS8UqGW-W-A
I tried contacting him, but he doesn't reply.

A search on the Conjuring Archive lead to these two sources:
