The digital change will eclipse the physical change in this effect, therefore if they assume it's augmented reality or a pre-recorded video, they will set aside the fact that the card physically changed. Layman: "Cool app, bro." Magician: "But the actual card changed." Layman: "Right, but clearly you used an app to make the card seem to change so it was already that card." Magician: "But how? That makes no sense, you saw the card." Layman: "You must have switched it." Etc, etc, game over. P.S. - I'm not suggesting that everyone, or even the majority of them, will think this is an app. But most of those who do will not be bothered that the physical card changed. |

I'm glad people are enjoying this. I think it's a really clever idea. And obviously greats like Blaine and others pulled it off amazingly so that says a lot.
For me, on top of having issues accessing it at first, I didn't like the way the card moving across looked. It just seemed exactly like what it is. So a bit suspicious. I'm sure it flies by layman, but for my purposes, wasn't a fan. On top of that, the instructions while adequate, was just the two brothers giddily talking over each other and meandering to explain the systems, basic handlings, and other ideas. .Not really going into that much detail. Would have been nice to get some deep dives into the moves, etc. Separate supplemental videos were provided, but they were in French, and were kind of an info dump...so not really easy to figure out if coming in fresh with little knowledge of things like a DL, controlling cards, etc. Sure, I know enough to get by on all this but some buying this may not. Again, truly glad others are enjoy it. Just my thoughts, no bashing or any ill will intended. |

Still think all videos look pretty bad, honestly. Why not use augmented reality instead of this?
