I love this effect and have been putting a lot of work into it, the 20 Century part by Scott and Puck is gold by itself. The prisoner silk ending is extremely visual and will kill. My problem is that I find the Prisoner Silk to be a bit finicky (at least in my hands). During practice I can hit it about 90 percent but that 10 percent keeps me from wanting to perform it for real people. I've tried many things to make this surefire but can't seem to get it perfect. Any tips you may have would be appreciated. I like working with the silks from my pockets as explained on the DVD but this can be a bit more challenging, Maybe I'm using the wrong thread, I've tried regular sewing thread, carpet thread. The Marconick instructions say to use catgut. Again if anyone has any experience to share I'd appreciate it, I'd hate to drop this but might if I can't find a solution. There'd be nothing worse than a big build up followed by a ball of red silk floating in mid air between two blue ones ???? Especially after the amazing 20th century routine preceding it.
