Is there a name for the little "magical moves" that we use when signifying that the magic just happened? For example, snapping a card, tapping the back, or giving the deck a quick thumb riffle?
I tend to call these mini-flourishes or non-flourishes, but in spite of all the times I've seen these moves in performances, I don't think I've ever seen this topic dealt with in print or other instruction.
Is there a good source or comprehensive list of these types of moves? I think it would be very helpful in designing my act and performing persona.
