I'm sorry to hear that your pain is still spiking. In my experience, it's a lot easier to deal with constant pain.
And I always say that for me, there are two kinds of pain medicine: the kind that doesn't do anything and the kind that makes me sick. But I do find that Tylenol usually works best for headaches and Aleve (actually Celebrex) works best for other pains.

I love efficient seasoned professionals. I take care of my blind nonverbal daughter and there aren't too many others I'd trust to be alone with her. When you get a good one, you know.

She's still able to walk (with the walker) into the living room. She's made it to the bathroom at least once. However, these trips take a lot out of her.

She's had a wound on her heel for as long as I've known her. They tried to clean it out while she was in the hospital. And now it's bandaged. The nurse said it looks like it's getting infected again and wants her to go into the emergency room to have it looked at. Right at this moment, that's not possible. We'll see after the 5th. But she really doesn't want to go back to the hospital right now.

Her nurse practitioner noticed the foot was hot. So she went in. First, I had to do a doctor's appointment, so I couldn't go, but that was all right because her daughter was there. THEN, I find out later that the ambulance wouldn't let her daughter accompany her to the emergency room, so she had to get another car! I finished my appointment and went to the emergency room to check up on them. That was at 2:30. It's now 9:00, and she's been seen and tested, now we're waiting for a room to open up!

She's back home. They found a little pnuemonia in her lungs. I don't know about the heel wound, but she on anti-biotics, which means we also have to give her PRO-biotics to avoid ceptis!
We have rented a 15 foot moving van, and moved all of the bags and boxes we packed up for the fumigation into the truck. We have a few left, but I'm tired and they'll have to wait until tomorrow. Pedro (my son in law) thought that we could unload the whole truck between the 5:00 PM "all clear," and 10:00, when U-haul will close. It ain't happening. I'm holding onto the truck until Friday. We will take from Monday TO Friday, unloading the truck and putting all our crap back where we want it!

I too am on super-antibiotics for a double infection and probiotics waiting to.get scanned to.see if my fungal friends have returned. Lots of kumbucha

Ed, I think the antibiotics are to prevent infection and psepsis. The probiotics are to help the guts with the side effects of the antibiotics.

OK, even better. We were expecting to have to call 911 and report a non-mobile, 70 year old woman needed assistance up three flights of stairs.
She did it herself! Granted, she had Pedro (my son in law) and Christopher in front supporting and Amber in the back providing... butt support, but she pretty much made it up the stairs on her own! However, the landlord says the Big Blue Bug people said there was going to have to be ONE more treatment! We don't know when yet. If it's within the week, then we have all of our stuff in the moving van until Friday. After that, we're going to have to renegotiate the contract. Another $200 for another week! AND we have to arrange ANOTHER trip to the hotel for Dotti and Lauren and the CATS! I am so tired.

She passed out in her wheelchair. They realized she hadn't eaten the day before. Now she's in the emergency room with a low hemoglobin count and I'm on my way to check in on her. I'm so *** tired.
