Does this look as good in person as it does on the video? I would venture to say if Mike Powers gives it a recommendation then it must be pretty good. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jaxon but I have met Mr. Powers and heard him lecture before at Magi-Fest and he is a fantastic performer as well as being very friendly and helpful.

I'd like to know a bit more about this too. It really is one of the nicest effects I've seen in a demo for quite awhile. I'm just not sure I can trust video demo's. It looks great.

I have it and have been playing with it for about a week. The gimmick works smoothly and the moves are easy. Still in the practice mode so I havent shown it to anyone yet to get the lay persons reaction but I am sure it will impress. Got mine from Ultimate Magic and it came very quickly.

How does this differ from One Car Garage from Jay Sankey? I just stumpled on the description of that effect recently. It's a elmsmagic I believe.

Well, I cant say anything about the gimmick since I havent recieved this yet, but this one has the card go up without any known physical movement on the magicians part. One Car garage has the magician push up the "garage". This looks fantastic.

I agree that the benefit of this one over Drawn Out is that there doesn't appear to be any movement by the magician's hand and even better, you don't have to move the deck around to distract people's focus.

Does this look as good in person as it does on the video? Yes, it looks exactly like it does in person as it does on the video. That's one of the reasons that close up shot is on the video. Wanted everyone to see that clearly. One thing to keep in mind. Not only for this trick but for many marketed tricks. They usually come with the easiest handling in the instructions so magicians who are a little less advanced will be able to perform it. The handling that comes with this trick is very easy. An experienced card worker could come up with any handling they want. Obviously there's a switch in there. For example another handling that works well with this trick is Ammars handling of the moving pip card. I'm speaking of the switch here. Just remember that all you need is one hand to make the "magic" happen and what I like about it is that the card is stationary while it happens. This means all eyes are focused on the moment. Be sure to let us know what kind of reaction you get when you go out there with it thegreatbarusky. Same for any of you who've picked it up. I'd love to hear how it goes for you. Ron Jaxon |

Yes, it will be offered at a discount price to JaxonMagic notes members as soon as I get my units. members of my New "THIS IS IT!" forum will get the same discount.
Ultimate magic now owns the rights to this trick and part of the deal was that I'll get so many units to sell on my site. My units haven't arrived yet because Ultimate Magic had a few big orders of of the trick and I told them to go ahead and take care of them first. It should be available soon as for you members of my JaxonMagic Notes and "This is IT". I'll send out an Email explaining the details of the discount. Thanks. Ron Jaxon |

Yo, I belive that the vcr is a good effect, whether you did come up with it previously (i.e before drawn out or not) however the method which I'm not going to reveal (obviously) is exactly the same as drawn out, the only thing you have cahnged is the material. and I know that mark thought of the same idea as he was producing this effect , however he decided against it due to the obvious "light" limitations. ...

I emailed Sean over at dancinghank.com to see if this effect could be transfered over to the black tiger deck and he was more that will to try it out! He even sent me a few images with the cardiograph on the BTD's and I'm sorry to say that the image doesn't show up on the back very well at all.

I've known Ron for years and saw him perform VCR again last month. It's awesome! The handling looked great and the gimmick was top notch. Yes, you can let the spectator get a good look at the card as it rises. I've seen him perform it over the years and I think working magicians will like this one.

I emailed Sean over at dancinghank.com to see if this effect could be transfered over to the black tiger deck and he was more that will to try it out! Interesting. Perhaps it could be done with a white out marker. Or maybe one of those bright colored paint pens. I got a couple decks of those tiger cards myself. Having fun playing around with ideas with them. sileeni uk I take no offense at all and I'm glad to hear your opinion. However, please obtain both the effects in questions and then share a comparison. Or if you can just play with one that a magician friend has or something. I'd love to hear what you think. Yes, the gimmicks are very similar. As similar as say Cardiographics is to FX drawing board. They are also very different. I hope many out there like Drawn out because it's a great trick. Mine's just different. To be honest, if someone else hadn't bought this trick from me. I don't know if I would have had the guts to market it myself. I knew the question of weather I did really come up with it before Drawn out would be questioned. I'm glad I listened to my magician friends though. It's getting a pretty good responce and I'm very proud of that. I just hope my next items to be released will be found useful to other magicians as well. Thanks to everyone who's picked it up. I hope you like it and please let me know if you have any questions. Ron Jaxon |

OK...had this for a while but been to busy to practice much. Finally got to show it to the local magic gang last night and at first they were not too impressed (a couple of them could see a reflective light off the gimmick ... gotta watch those lights and angles) ... but when I tossed out the card for examination they were all grabbing for it and did not a clue as to how this is accomplished. Very impressive.
