Can't seem to find too many chop cups that will accomodate a large (baseball or larger) load. Are there any chop cups that are the size of the Animal or Gazzo cups?

You should contact James Swain through his website as he has a chop cup routine that uses baseballs as final loads (it is either his or Jennings's routine!?!)

He will be able to tell you the name of this particular chop cup.

Hope this helps

The Don Alan Chop Cup from RNT II should accommodate a baseball. Check with Mike Brazill on that.

I checked with Mike Brazill at RNT II. He says the new Don Alan Chop Cup will easily hold a baseball.

Thanks Bill. I wasn't familiar with RNT's products; I now have their site bookmarked. The size of the Don Alan cup is right up my ally. Also, RNT II seems to get pretty good reviews over the workmanship and quality of their products.

I'm wondering, however, if the bronze insert makes the cup look too much like a magical prop. I realize that all cups are props, but some, like the old Gazzo's or Animal's have more of a tavern type look to them, which atleast to me, makes them appear not so prop-ish. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why the latter are called street cups? I'm wondering if the different colored insert on the Alan cup would draw unnecessary attention to it, or perhaps allow someone to reconstruct the routine/method. What do you think--is the two tone a detractor, a positive, or a neutral?

I don't think it makes one bit of difference at all. All attention is going to be on the baseball.

However, you might want to e-mail Mike and ask him that yourself. Mike is very amiable and easy to deal with.

The Ickle Pickle Wide-Mouth can too.
I like the shape of that cup.

I can also get you a leather chop cup that can hold a baseball no problem. If you want more info on that, PM me.
