Is there such a thing operating anywhere in the world now?

I did a basic search on Google and here on The Cafe but couldn't find any structured training courses specifically for escapology.

Anyone knows of any places?

I used to teach classes in Basics of Sideshow and Escapes. For escapes, I focused on ropes, chains, and straitjackets. We did a little handcuff and shackles, but were limited by time. I haven't taught a class since Covid started.

Interesting indeed.
So, I am guessing that an actual school doesn't really exist for Escapologist, yah?

The School of Hard Knocks. It was where Houdini attended to learn escapology.

I’m going to teach a workshop this summer at Coney Island USA as part of their sideshow school. It’s going to be a blast. I have performed the milk can twice on the Coney Island boardwalk and I will be discussing that escape but also the ones in my working repertoire. I’ll post the link here when the tickets are ready.

In my lecture, I discuss the escapes I have been using in my show for more than 25 years. I also will go into a detailed description on how I build an act.
